I am back! I am not rested! I am using exclamation marks!

Back from Sakura Con 2012 and after two 25+ hour train rides, it's great to be back. I was absurdly giddy about seeing my mascot all over the lovely city of Seattle. The shirts depicting her sold out, as did the Hokusai plushies. I snagged neither, but they gave me one of the collectible narwhal glasses for free!

I ended up modeling for Atelier Pierrot and h. NAOTO, which was… an experience. Spent a total of ten hours in the makeup and hair chairs with mystifying results! I spent the rest of the con cosplaying Nyotalia America from Hetalia along with my 19 year-old nephew as my male counterpart. I am pleased to have selected a character for him of the right hair color, eye color, age and disposition. Went well, and he's wanting to hit Sakura Con up again next year. And if I do a booth next year? MORE PONIES. Holy hell, those things were gone in a matter of hours! @_@

So, I'll be getting back to the grind here shortly. I need to update my prices and get a few things done first, but I'm going to spend this summer doing another round of commissions. I'll make an announcement when I'm good to go! (Still working full-time. It's impossible, I swear.)
